LOT Polish Airlines Debuts Redesigned Boeing 737 MAX 8 Cabin Interior

WARSAW- The flag carrier of Poland has unveiled the redesigned cabin design of its Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft that are further aesthetically inspired by the mountain ranges and natural landscapes of Poland.
The LOT Polish Airlines announced that the first plane with the revamped interior began to operate in commerce on Thursday. The redesign includes copper and amber color accents that would remind about the Tatra mountains and the color of a Polish sunrise, the officials of the airlines claimed.
The carrier collaborated with Tangerine, a firm in Britain specializing in aviation interiors design to come up with the new appearance. The design reflects the design aspects that have been incorporated in the refurbished business lounges of LOT at the Warsaw Chopin Airport and the Chicago OHare International Airport.
The layout of our cabins and airports facilities is inspired by the Polish landscapes and aesthetic, according to Izabela Leszczynska, the director of product development/customer experience of the airline. She explained the project as a larger initiative to provide an inclusive travel experience with the reflection of the Polish heritage.
In addition to the visual update, the airline has fitted modernized seats, produced by the German company, RECARO at a Polish plant. According to the carrier, the new seats have six-way adjustable headrests, high-powered USB-C charging ports and in-built mobile device holders.
According to Matt Round, the chief creative officer at Tangerine, the partnership was a radical creative break that embodied a sense of what he termed as being Polish.
According to the officials of LOT, the new design of the cabin would be slowly applied to other aircrafts on the fleet as part of the long term modernization process that the airline plans to undergo. The program does not just cover onboard areas but also covers ground facilities and online platforms.
LOT is one of the oldest airlines in the world that started operations in 1929. The carrier provides long-haul flights to North America and Asia with the help of Boeing 787 Dreamliner airplanes and plays the major role of a connector between Central and Eastern Europe and other countries of the world.
